Very Simple!

Log on to http://speed-e.nsdl.com site
Register yourself by entering the vital information like User ID, Password, Client ID, Name, User name, Date of Birth, E-mail address, CM-BP ID.
A Registration number will be generated. Walk into our nearest branch with the registration number and the requisite documents like identity proof and residence proof.
Once we authenticate your password / smart card, you can start using Speed-e.

SPEED-e can be accessed through two ways viz. Password and Smart Card.

Through Password based access facility, the client can transact their demat accounts with three pre notified Clearing Members accounts (broker pool accounts).

Smart Card enables the user to give debit instructions to the broker and client accounts, be it off market or market transactions.

The delivery instructions given by you through Internet Speed-e site are executed in a secured environment, which includes SSL server with firewalls, 128 Bit encryption besides digital signatures. The entire system is secured and the password (for low-end users) and Smart card (for high-end users and brokers) ensures that only you can access your Demat Account. Hacking into SPEED-e has been made virtually impossible due to secured gateways and protocols.
