Dear Sir,

SUB: SERVICE TAX @ 10.20%

This is for the information of all the clients that rate of service tax has been revised to 10.20% as per new finance bill 2004-2005 (Service tax 10%+ 2% education cess on ST+ Total 10.20%). Please note the following upfront payments.

1. a)Total amount to be paid for Account opening under regular scheme would be Rs.220.40 (Rs. 200 + 20.40 as service Tax). Stamp paper charges will be paid separately.

b) Total amount to be paid under Flexi scheme is Rs.551/- (Rs. 500 + 51 as Service Tax).

c). Total amount for demat (excluding courier charges) will be Rs.22.04 (Rs. 20/- + 2.04 as service tax)

d) Total amount for Instruction book would be Rs.44.08 (Rs. 40 + 4.08 as service tax).

2. The Courier Services shall also be levied a Service Tax 10.20%@
